Miss Corrigan started her career in teaching in 1995 at South Halifax High School.  Since that time she has worked in 8 different schools across 6 different local authorities and also held posts as a Senior Lecturer in Education at Sheffield Hallam University.

Her career has been very diverse, including 5 years on the leadership team of an outstanding school, working in a challenging school in Liverpool and working across a hub of underperforming schools, focused upon school improvement, as a Director of Academy Improvement.

She is a Science teacher by trade and led a Faculty of 20 staff to achieve the highest results in the LA and throughout most of Yorkshire whilst in the post. Since that time, she has been an Assistant Head Teacher for Key Stage 4, a Vice Principal in 2 different Schools and a Head Teacher.

She is wholly committed to raising standards of teaching and in providing our students with the best possible chances in life.  She loves her job, and the students and staff she works with make it all worthwhile.

As a result of her past experience, she has previously been invited to run workshops at the National Outstanding Teachers Conference and this year, she will be a guest speaker at the National Inspiring Leadership Conference.
